Vibe Coding and Agentic Coding at High Performing Company

Our two ways of building with AI: vibe coding for fast iteration with you at the wheel, and agentic coding to delegate larger work to an agent. In days what traditionally takes weeks, no template, no no-code platform.

High Performing Company builds with AI through two complementary methods: vibe coding and agentic coding. On this page we explain what both are, when to choose which, and how we use them across our services.

What is Vibe Coding

Vibe Coding is a way of working where you describe in natural language to an AI tool what you want, and the AI writes the code. The term comes from AI researcher Andrej Karpathy and emerged in late 2025. You describe the 'vibe' of what you want; tools like Lovable and Cursor translate it into working software. The human role shifts from writing code to reviewing code, picking architecture and steering the process.

Vibe Coding is not a no-code platform like Webflow or Bubble. Those give you visual building blocks within their own ecosystem and you're locked in afterwards. With Vibe Coding you generate real code (React, Next.js, Python) that lives in your own GitHub repository and that you can host, extend or take with you. It is also not an 'AI prompter blindly copy-pasting': without review and architecture choices, quality drops fast.

Done well, Vibe Coding produces software that matches the quality of traditionally developed code, in a fraction of the time. Sites and business apps that would otherwise take 6 to 12 weeks ship in 4 days through our AI web development in 4 days.

And what is Agentic Coding

Agentic coding is the complement to vibe coding. Instead of steering step by step, you give an agent like Claude Code a goal and let it execute, test and deliver the work autonomously. Where vibe coding is about short iterations and maximum control, agentic coding is about delegating larger, more complex work: refactors across multiple files, complex logic and automation.

They are not competitors but two positions on the same spectrum: control versus delegation, not easy versus hard. Lovable is our vibe-coding tool, Claude Code our agentic-coding tool. Which one we choose depends on the task, and in serious projects we use both.

How we build with AI

Vibe coding and agentic coding sound simple but the execution has many pitfalls. This is how High Performing Company works with them, whichever method, and what that delivers compared to a founder trying it themselves.

01

Choose architecture

Before we write a single prompt, we decide the stack: which framework, which hosting, which database, which security approach. Vibe Coding without good architecture leads to software that no longer scales by week 2.

02

Iterate with the right tools

Lovable for visual building, Claude Code for custom work and complex logic, ChatGPT for research and automations, Stitch for design. Which tool when is not taste but a choice based on the project.

03

Review and test code

Every generated piece of code is reviewed by us on security, performance and maintainability. A large part of a Vibe Coding agency's work sits here.

04

Hand over

You get the GitHub repository, hosting setup and a short training so you can keep developing yourself. No vendor lock-in.

Our toolstack

A good Vibe Coding agency is tool-agnostic but chooses deliberately. This is our current stack, re-evaluated every 3 months.

Lovable

Fast visual building of websites and web apps. Mostly web development.

Claude

Code generation, deeper analysis, long documents and strategic sparring. Across most of our services.

ChatGPT

Research, copywriting, automations. Mostly training and partly workshop.

Lees meer →

Stitch

Design generation and visual wireframing before we start building. Mostly web development.

Alongside these four tools we also work with Cursor and Claude Code for custom code, and various niche tools per project. Toolstack changes fast in this field. What is the best choice today may be outdated in 6 months. We continuously evaluate whether better alternatives exist and adapt our stack and trainings accordingly.

When Vibe Coding works (and when it doesn't)

Works well for:

  • Marketing and corporate sites
  • Internal tools and dashboards
  • MVPs and product validation
  • Customer portals with standard auth
  • Business apps for department-specific processes
  • Replacing slow Excel workflows

Less suitable for:

  • Enterprise platforms with strict compliance (without an extra security audit)
  • Realtime systems with strict performance requirements
  • Embedded software or hardware integrations
  • Projects where you mostly want a cheap freelancer

Not sure if your project fits? Schedule a call. We are honest about when Vibe Coding is not the right answer. Then we recommend another route, even if it isn't with us.

Where Vibe Coding lives across our services

Vibe coding is not a separate service but a methodology that shows up across several services. Agentic coding lives mainly in our Agentic AI service and in custom development. Below is where vibe coding shows up most strongly.

AI Strategy & Awareness Workshop

Vibe Coding at strategic level

In our workshops for executives we show what Vibe Coding means for your organization: which processes can move faster, which roles change, which decisions you need to make now. We don't build during the workshop; we make the concept tangible with live demos.

For: founders, executives and management teams

High Performing AI Training

Learn to work with AI tools yourself

In our half-day training, teams learn hands-on to work with AI tools on their own work. For marketers that's about content and automation, for founders about validating fast, for product people about Vibe Coding for prototypes.

For: founders, teams and marketers in SMBs and larger organizations

Frequently asked questions

What is Vibe Coding exactly?
Vibe Coding is a way of working where you describe what you want in natural language to an AI tool like Lovable, Cursor or Claude, and the AI writes the code. The term comes from AI researcher Andrej Karpathy and emerged in late 2025. A Vibe Coding agency applies this methodology professionally with code review, architecture decisions and the right tool selection.
Are you only a Vibe Coding agency?
No. High Performing Company is an AI consultancy with five services: strategic workshops for executives, a Marketing AI Scan, hands-on AI training, AI web development and agentic AI. Vibe coding and agentic coding are the two methods we build with. Vibe coding lives mainly in web development and partly training; agentic coding mainly in our agentic AI service and custom work.
Is Vibe Coding the same as no-code like Webflow or Bubble?
No. No-code platforms give you visual building blocks within their own ecosystem and you're locked in. With Vibe Coding you generate real code (React, Next.js, Python) that lives in your own GitHub repository and that you can host, extend or move to another agency.
How do I know AI-generated code is high quality?
That's exactly why you'd hire an agency instead of writing prompts yourself. A Vibe Coding agency reviews every generated codebase for security, performance and maintainability before delivery. Without that review the quality is unreliable; with it, it matches traditionally developed code.
Which organizations does Vibe Coding work for?
Founders who want to validate fast, SMBs who want internal tools, marketing teams who want to ship landing pages themselves, and larger organizations who want department-specific business apps that would otherwise take months in IT. Less suitable: enterprise platforms with strict compliance and realtime systems with strict performance requirements.
How secure is AI-generated code?
The same security rules apply as for traditional code. We review every build on authentication, data handling and known vulnerabilities. For enterprise tracks with compliance requirements (GDPR, ISO 27001) we can provide extra security reviews.
Which tools do you use?
Our current stack: Lovable for visual building, Cursor and Claude Code for custom work, ChatGPT and Claude for research and content. Toolstack changes fast in this field; we re-evaluate every 3 months.
Can I learn Vibe Coding myself?
Yes, and we recommend it. Our High Performing AI Training teaches your team to work with these tools. For some projects building it yourself is best, for others an agency is more efficient. We help you make that call.
What does Vibe Coding cost at High Performing Company?
Web development is project-based and significantly cheaper than traditional agencies because lead time is shorter. Training and workshops have day rates. Schedule a call for an estimate at your scope.
How do I get started?
Schedule a 30-minute call. In it we determine which of our services (workshop, Marketing AI Scan, training, web development, agentic AI or a combination) best fits where you are now. Not a sales call, an honest assessment.

Ready to build or learn?

Vibe coding and agentic coding work best when the match is right. A 30-minute call tells you which method fits your project.
