What is Vibe Coding

Vibe Coding is a way of working where you describe in natural language to an AI tool what you want, and the AI writes the code. The term comes from AI researcher Andrej Karpathy and emerged in late 2025. You describe the 'vibe' of what you want; tools like Lovable, Cursor and Claude Code translate it into working software. The human role shifts from writing code to reviewing code, picking architecture and steering the process.

Vibe Coding is not a no-code platform like Webflow or Bubble. Those give you visual building blocks within their own ecosystem and you're locked in afterwards. With Vibe Coding you generate real code (React, Next.js, Python) that lives in your own GitHub repository and that you can host, extend or take with you. It is also not an 'AI prompter blindly copy-pasting': without review and architecture choices, quality drops fast.

What is the best choice today may be outdated in 6 months. We continuously evaluate whether better alternatives exist and adapt our stack and trainings accordingly.

When Vibe Coding works (and when it doesn't)
